
Simple Printmaking Techniques for Preschoolers: Engaging Ideas for Childcare Workers

1. Stamping With Household Objects
Let children explore shapes, textures, and colors using everyday items.
What you need:
- Tempera or finger paint
- White or construction paper
- Household objects (sponges, Lego bricks, forks, potato mashers, etc.)
Instructions:
- Pour paint onto trays.
- Let each child pick their object, dip it in paint, and stamp onto paper.
- Swap objects to explore different prints!
2. Bubble Printmaking

What you need:
- Water
- Dish soap
- Paint or food coloring

Instructions:

Instructions:
